Audio-Technica Shines at the 2025 Hong Kong High-End AV Show
Continuing the “Always Analog” Philosophy — Bringing Sound Back to Its Purest Form
Audio-Technica was pleased to participate in the 2025 Hong Kong High-End AV Head-fi Show, continuing its commitment to the “Always Analog” philosophy. For the brand, analog audio is more than just a playback method—it reflects a deep respect for the detail, warmth, and texture of sound. This year’s exhibition, featuring a main exhibition hall and two dedicated listening zones (Headphone Listening Room and Hi-Fi Listening Room), was thoughtfully designed to share that vision with music lovers and audiophiles alike.
Main Exhibition Hall
- Hotaru (ホタル) | A Turntable That Ignites the Senses — The Fusion of Light and Sound
The main exhibition area featured a specially designed, light-controlled room to showcase the debut of the Hotaru turntable. Named after the glowing firefly of the night, Hotaru embodies the fusion of sound and light. Its magnetic levitation design delivers a distinctive audiovisual experience, enhanced by three lighting modes that respond to the rhythm of the music—creating a truly immersive journey for both the eyes and ears.

- AT-LPA2 Transparent Acrylic Turntable and VMx Series Cartridges
Also on display was the popular AT-LPA2 , a fully manual belt-drive turntable. Built with a 30mm-thick transparent acrylic chassis and engineered for low resonance, it significantly enhances acoustic performance. Featuring a carbon-fiber tonearm, adjustable counterweight, and anti-skating system, it delivers stable, precise playback. An optical speed sensor and independent power module further elevate speed stability and sound quality.

Showcased alongside, the VMx series cartridges offer vinyl enthusiasts a versatile range of options tailored to various genres and listening preferences—delivering a rich, personalized analog experience.
- Interactive Experience Zone:
All-White Recording Series — Hands-On Experience of Recording Gear
Making its debut in Hong Kong, the new all-white recording equipment lineup was available for hands-on experience. The series includes:
- AT2020 CWH Cardioid Condenser Microphone
- AT-UMX3 WH USB Streaming Mixer
- ATH-M20x WH Professional Monitor Headphones
- AT8700J WH Microphone Boom Arm
- BX3/3.0 WH XLR Microphone Cable
With a cohesive all-white aesthetic, the series combines functionality with visual appeal—designed to meet the needs of creators and audio professionals. Visitors were invited to test the gear and explore its performance across a range of recording and production scenarios.
- Narukami Meets Lundahl Transformers
Special guest Helena Pantzare, CEO of Lundahl Transformers, travelled from Sweden to personally introduce the amorphous core silver wire output transformer featured in the NARUKAMI amplifier and preamplifier. She highlighted its technical advantages and sonic qualities, and also showcased a range of Lundahl transformer products, offering attendees deeper insight into the brand’s craftsmanship and innovation.

Hi-Fi Listening Room | Flagship Cartridge demo
