Audio-Technica was the major label providing microphones for the internationally televised VH1 broadcast of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony March 14 in Manhattan Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

Audio-Technica Artist Elite® 5000 Series UHF Wireless System was used during the induction ceremony for frontline vocals by The O Jays, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Percy Sledge, Bo Diddley, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis and Paul Shaffer. A-T hardwired microphones were also used, including the AE2500 on bass guitar amps, AE5100 on hi-hat, ATM35 on horns and AT4050 for overheads and guitar amps.
