Audio-Technica New Products launches at 2016 NAMM show

Audio-Technica unveils its new products at 2016 NAMM show in Anaheim. The products included ATM230 Hypercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone, new Artist Elite® AE2300 Dynamic Cardioid Instrument Microphone, ATH-M50xMG Professional Monitor Headphones and new E-Series Professional In-Ear Monitor (IEM) Headphones, and two new desk stand and boundary microphones compatible with System 10 PRO Wireless Systems.

The ATM230 brings a model ideal for capturing drums and percussion to Audio-Technica popular Artist Series line. The proprietary of the capsule is designed to excel in high SPL applications, delivering full, well-rounded audio with an exceptional low-end. The hypercardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of desired sound source – directionality that is aided by low-profile design, which allows it to be placed in a wide variety of setups. ATM230 is ideally suited for miking toms, snare and other percussion instruments.

The AE2300 features Audio-Technica proprietary double-dome diaphragm construction, giving it high-frequency and transient response that far exceeds typical dynamic microphones. With its rugged, brass metal construction and low-profile design (able to be placed unobtrusively in a variety of applications) and the ability to handle high SPLs, the AE2300 is a versatile performer, able to capture sound from guitar amps, brass and woodwinds, drums and percussion instruments with clarity and precision.

ATH-M50xMG is a limited-edition matte gray version of Audio-Technica popular ATH-M50x family. ATH-M50xMG provides an unmatched experience for the most critical audio applications, including recording, live sound, broadcast, DJ and personal listening. The headphones incorporate technology drawn from Audio-Technica’s long history in the field of high-performance professional audio, providing exceptional power handling, very high SPL capability, and natural, accurate sound with impactful bass and high-frequency extension.

There are three models in the E-Series Professional In-Ear Monitor Headphones. They have been designed to fully answer the needs of demanding sound professionals and musicians from the studio to the stage to the DJ Booth.
ATH-E70 is the flagship in-ear monitor model in the E-Series. Its accuracy and detail allow precise balancing of the mix, making it the perfect choice for monitoring on stage and ENG mixing in the studio. Offering high-resolution audio and an accurate sound stage, this model is designed for sound professionals who demand the best.
ATH-E50 features excellent isolation that ensures confident, comfortable stage performance. To address the evolution of modern music production, this model also excels at providing a consistent reference in every sonic environment, making it the ideal choice for the producer on the road.
ATH-E40 has a proprietary dual phase push-pull driver design which improves fidelity and efficiency. The ATH-E40 delivers powerful bass along with balanced mid and high frequencies to convey the full emotion of the music from the stage to the street.
