Audio-Technica 2019 new products launches in Tokyo
September 19, 2019 (Tokyo time 15:30 ~ 18:00), Audio-Technica’s new products launch was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan. The conference with the theme “Sounds are everywhere”, introduced a variety of headphones, ranging from wireless headphones, sporty headphones, noise-cancelling headphones, hybrid headphones and the Audio-Technica’s iconic wooden headphones. All are capable of bringing you surprises.
This press conference attracted people from various sectors. During the conference, besides focusing on high-quality headphones, design, functionality, and innovation were also focused.
1. Three iconic wooden headphones
portable headphones have their housings made up of “flame maple” with the gradual maple pattern painting technique of Japanese guitars. The wooden texture looks vivid as the flames, and this type of wood has high stiffness and density that is able to deliver clear sound.
Dynamic headphones have their housings made of Asada Sakura wood. The beautiful and durable red Asada Sakura wood looks elegant and stunning. With its unique acoustic performance, it can reproduce natural sounds.
Dynamic headphones have their housings made of Ebony wood. It is a kind of wood which has a long history of making vibration suppression headphones. With its superb acoustic characteristics, it can deliver rich and high-fidelity sound.
2. The innovative hybrid in-ear headphones
Hybrid in-ear headphone is the Audio-Technica's latest falgship hybrid-driver configuration. Multi-driver structure which combines dual balanced armature drivers for the high-range. The dynamic type driver adopts “Dual Phase Push-Pull Drivers” as a structure. It is composed of Ø9.8mm dynamic driver for the full range, and Ø8.8mm is designed as a passive radiator that enhances the sense of volume in the low range. In between dynamic drivers and passive radiator is firmly fixed with a brass stabiliser. The two diaphragms operate in synchronism, which greatly minimises distortion and achieves exceptional full-range audio.
3. The cutting-edge wireless Bluetooth headphones
Wireless noise cancelling headphone is the industry-leading level of noise canceling model, with QUIETPOINT® hybrid digital noise canceling technology, and up to approx. 20 hours of wireless noise cancelling playback.
