M50x Limited Edition Colour Poll: You Decide



For the first time since the iconic M50 series launched in 2007, Audio-Technica Japan is enabling fans to choose the next colour for the 2021 limited-edition, wired and wireless, M50x.

Via an online voting system (www.audio-technica.co.jp/M50xVote/) of Audio-Technica Japan, fans can select from one of four styles for the next limited-edition model: Lantern Glow, Harajuku Pop, Midnight Jam or Dark Roast. Voters can also pick up a prize, as every vote gives them an opportunity to win a pair of wired or wireless M50x.




It is one of the Audio-Technica’s best-selling headphones, the M50s have developed a dedicated following over the past 13 years. The monitoring headphones are often hailed as “must-have” equipment by the world’s top streamers, YouTubers and artists.

Despite continued innovation, including a wireless edition introduced in 2018, the M50s have stayed true to Audio-Technica founder, Hideo Matsushita’s, original vision. Hideo-san wanted to create a quality audio experience for all, enabling people to access quality products for any application or budget.

Voting opens on December 18th 2020 and closes on December 25th 2020. The winning colour and the winners of the competition will be announced on January 8th 2021, with the chosen limited-edition style released Summer 2021.
