The prestigious CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards recognize the year’s most outstanding developments in engineering and design in the consumer electronics industry. Winning products are chosen by a panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade press.

"We are honored that the ATH-ANC7 has been recognized as a 2008 Innovations honoree," said Crystal Griffith, Audio-Technica Consumer Marketing Manager. "In developing these headphones, Audio-Technica was committed to offering consumers a combination of extremely effective noise-cancelling technology and stunning sound quality."

Ideal for use with portable music and DVD players, laptop computers and in-flight entertainment systems, the ATH-ANC7 headphones utilize QuietPoint™ active noise-cancellation technology that eliminates 85% of outside noise.

ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint™ headphones deliver the high-resolution audio quality that has made Audio-Technica headphones a favorite with consumers, recording engineers and artists. They feature large-aperture 40 mm drivers with powerful neodymium magnet systems for impactful bass, accurate midrange and extended treble. The headphones’ high sensitivity and wide 10 – 25,000 Hz frequency response provide exceptional fidelity from any music source. The ATH-ANC7 also works when the noise-cancelling function is turned off, and operates in passive mode without batteries.

The headphones fold flat for storage and come with a detachable cable (with a standard 3.5 mm mini-plug; the cable can be removed for noise-cancelling functionality without audio), a full-size 1/4-inch adapter, an airline adapter for connection to in-flight entertainment systems, and a hard, durable carrying case.
